About

I studied at the American Academy of Art College to receive a BFA in 3D Modeling and Animation. Learning in a structured environment allowed me to experience the different facets that 3D modeling have to offer. A curriculum of learning to utilize programs such as Autodesk Maya, Solidangle Arnold, Adobe Substance Painter and Marmoset Toolbag provided me with the means to hone my craft. After focusing efforts on improving my skills, I have garnered a love of building realistic models that can be used to provoke interest in what I am depicting.

With this current body of work of vehicles, furniture pieces, and products, I strive to create compelling and dynamic models that will instill intrigue within the viewer. The challenge of creating pieces with intriguing silhouettes and dynamic color is what fuels my creative process. The most recent pieces are 3D recreations of modern vehicles and art nouveau style furniture. The vehicles showcase an understanding of traditional hard surface modeling techniques, while the art nouveau furniture pieces combine my hard surface skills with natural curving details and a soft color palette.
